Five percent of women suffer with a yeast infection that keeps coming back. This can happen for months for some sufferers while the unlucky ones can suffer for years with chronic Candida overgrowth.

Yeast is always present in your body, but it lives their harmlessly. If it continues to give you problems then there is a good reason. The good news is, yeast infections that keep coming back can be cured easily once you discover the cause of your infections.

Most women will continue to keep on using anti fungal creams to cure their chronic yeast infections. All this s going to do is create a drug resistant yeast infection. It won't ever cure your infection because you're only treating one of the symptoms.

An itchy vagina is just one symptom of fungal overgrowth in your body. The infection isn't in your vagina, it's in your whole body. The only reason you get symptoms in your vagina is because the fungi love a warm, moist place to live in, and that is the warmest and moistest place on your body.

Another warm and moist place is your intestines. And as well as being warm and moist your intestines have an abundance of food for the fungus especially if you eat a lot of sugar. Sugar id your yeast infections favorite food, and if your infection won't go away, then it will be around forever if you keep on feeding it.

You must stop feeding the fungus if you want to cure your recurrent yeast infections. You have to starve the yeast so you can then weaken it, and kill it. Your body once had control of the bacterial balance in your intestines, but that has been lost so you now have to get it back. Once you do the yeast will no longer mutate into an infection causing fungus.

Your chronic yeast infections will stop once your body is strong enough internally. Then it will prevent the yeast mutating into a fungus.
