Every year, millions of people suffer from Candida. We all know about the external yeast infections that affect the sexual organs of men and women, but today I am here to tell you about other hidden yeast infections.
Candida albicans is the species of yeast most commonly associated with yeast infections. It is present in about 90% of people, studies have shown. Many of these people don't have it in their sexual organs, but within their intestinal tract.
Normally people and Candida have a symbiotic relationship. While candida keeps benevolent bacteria in check, the benevolent bacteria within your intestinal tract keep the Candida in check.
However, sometimes this balance is disturbed. There are many factors which can cause such an imbalance. These factors include, but are not limited to:
* unbalanced hormones
* Diabetes
* dietary choices
* immunodeficiency
Under such circumstances, the fungus may have the opportunity to grow out of control.
An uncontrolled yeast infection may be linked to many health problems. If left untreated an intestinal candida overgrowth can become systemic. This is because candida which is allowed to mature will develop root-like structures known as rhizoids. These structures will eventually penetrate the intestinal wall.
When the fungus makes it through the wall, it can then travel through the blood stream and attack any system of the body.
Pathogenic candida has been shown to potentially contribute to the following health issues:
* Pustules
* a constant feeling of tiredness
* Sugar Cravings
* intestinal perforation
* Farting
Systemic Candida can be extremely difficult to treat. It is, however, necessary to rid your body of the overgrowth for good health.
There are many products on the market to treat yeast infections of the sexual organs. However these creams are rarely effective for the external yeast infections and are utterly useless for systemic infections.
You can, however treat this problem with a holistic approach. By strengthening your own immune defenses and killing off the fungus, you too can achieve a feeling of good will and good health.
