Yeast infection is often caused by a range of conditions. Some common causes are wearing tight pants, pantyhose and underwear made from nylon or other non-breathable material. Also taking antibiotics and even birth control pills can also be seen to cause yeast infections in some cases. Women of childrearing age commonly contract yeast infections. Candida infections can be frustrating and very painful to deal with. The thing is though, Candida is a yeast which is normally controlled by the immune system and the bacteria in the body.
